I’m going to let you in on a little secret….Fall is AMAZING! I love everything about Fall! (Except for the fact that I have to say goodbye to summer). I love the clothes, the colors, the leaves, the crisp air and I ESPECIALLY love the food! To me, fall food is all about the comfort! Soups, potatoes, bread, SQUASH…mmmmmmm

Within the last few days, my son has decided that everything is better if it is slathered in “Dip, dip”. So, I am constantly on the hunt for  healthy and delicious dip ideas! Last night I decided to make this Healthy Homemade Ketchup and it did not disappoint! He LOVED it! And it tastes very similar to real ketchup! The most exciting part? One of the most stressful things in motherhood for me is when my son won’t eat!  Toddlers go through days when they will eat more like a teenager and days when they won’t eat a bit. But not to worry, typical children will get the nourishment  that they need. (Even if it doesn’t seem like it). There are some things you can do to make mealtime a little easier on you, and your little gobbler.

Do NOT allow child to graze.
Offer your child breakfast, lunch and dinner and two snacks in between. Allowing your child to snack all day will keep them feeling slightly full all day. They will feel less of a need to eat if they are satisfied all day. And grazing all day is not sufficient for your child’s nourishment. Don’t hold back if your child is hungry and needs a little extra snack!
