When my first son was nursing, he was diagnosed with Milk, Soy, Protein Intolerance. So basically I had to drop everything dairy if I wanted to continue nursing. So, I did! One of the easiest ways to do this was to use some Vegan recipes. They gave great substitutions for dairy products! So, needless to say, I was VERY excited when I was asked to review the Ebook 101 Vegan Chocolate Recipes! These are super easy recipes that give great substitutions! It’s super cheap to buy or you can read it for free on amazon!
I always have the best intentions. I always want to be that Mom that brings cute gifts on Holidays for my kid’s teachers, make cute treats for my husbands employees etc…. BUT I always fall short because I simply DO NOT HAVE TIME!!! Ok…And we can admit that I am not the best baker/cook and I’m truly very non-crafty..
Can I just tell you how excited I am for my Valentines Day treat this year? It takes all of 5 minutes to prepare (minus the oven time) and is UBER delicious and fairly calorie free! My two year old and I had the absolute best time making this popcorn! It is so easy and quick to prep that it kept his attention the WHOLE time and the air popping alone was enough to entertain us for hours. I think we would have popped the entire container if we had a use for 200 quarts of popcorn!

Do you have one of those kids that will eat just about ANYTHING as long as it is dipped in ranch, ketchup or something equally as disgusting? Ok Fine, I love condiments just as much as the next guy…but did you know that Ranch has 140 Calories per Serving??? And a serving is only 2 Tbs! Not to mention it has 14 grams of fat and 250 mg of sodium (Hidden Valley Ranch)! So, here is a GREAT solution! This Trick Your Picky Eater-Healthy Homemade Ranch Dip only has 53 Calories per serving, 2.4 grams of fat and 170 mg of sodium! Now, this isn’t a good alternative for Dressing on a Salad…But for dipping veggies, nuggets, fries, pizza…whatever your little person likes to dip…it is PERFECT!!! And it is a much healthier alternative to ranch!
