Do you ever have a craving for some nice, yummy ice cream and want that home made taste but don’t want to wait for all the churning? Yes? Okay then this recipe is for you! We used to BEG my mom to make this growing up! It is yummy, healthy, is packed with fruit and only takes about 5 minutes. Here’s the scoop (pun intended- I am so funny!) on how to make the ice cream!
What you will need:
1/2 Gallon Raspberry Sherbert
1/2 Gallon Pineapple Sherbert
1 Can crushed or Pineapple Tidbits (Drained)
2 Cups Frozen Raspberries
2 Cups Frozen Blue Berries
2 Bananas Cut into small pieces
(If your family doesn’t love any of those fruits, replace them with what they do love! This recipe is easy to customize!)
- Leave your Sherbet out for about 1/2 hour before making the ice cream so it is slightly soft.
- In a large bowl combine all ingredients.
- Stir until all ingredients are combined
- Eat it up!
No seriously...that is it! YUMM!!!!! This stuff melts pretty quick so keep that in mind while planning to serve it. It is best served a little bit soft.
